Love All Week

With Valentine on the weekend, i just realize its also Chap Goh Meh....last day of the Chinese Nu Year celebration (its not late to wish Happy Chinese Nu Year i guess)....its also knwon as the Valentine Day for the Chinese.

Guys, if u wanna have a chinese girl as ur life partner tonights the night where the girls will throw oranges into the lake or river(sea i'm not sure)...
prepare a big net...hahahaha
i've read that these days the oranges(or some other fruits like banana) will contain info such as name and phone number....is that desperate? Maybe with the number of girls in this world is 4 times the men....or maybe more....

Talking about V-day, I dont really celebrate it, reasons
i/ its not a public holiday
ii/fatwa states it as haram
iii/whom am i gonna celebrate it with...

I remember someone giving me a V-day card....calling me a 'prince'...hehe...although i know who my admirer was, we just ended up being friends....i think i still have that card back home.
Besides that, the most common gift i got is chocolate...which i was happily to eat it.

I think there's gonna be a lot of love songs, love movie to be watch and listen during these few days. Even magazines and newspaper is fill with article regarding to V-Day.

Sometimes i wonder why some people willing to spend lots of money just to show their love on that day. If its just chocolate, card and a gift, its OK. Why can it on other day? If those people are married, its OK i guess but people who are not married.Heard that lots of young couple losing their virginity on V-Day. So i heard....

The thing is, love is a good thing, if its properly manage. If not, it could make life worst.

Yeay....rest..its all i really need after everything seems to be wrong week
i've been really busy with preparing for my test....
i've forgot to do my assignment but i did manage to pass it on time.

the internet has been a bit slow this few days.....
especially when downloading tv series....
usually it will be super fast but.....its like the speed of a snail.....

since i'm having 4 day rest.....i didnt do much today except for cooking.....
i'm really broke and i have to depend on what i might catch in my trap..

coz somehow i set the fire big....suppose only small.....

although only for few days or hours i'm still happy

Last year i think Batman and Ironman realluy hit the spotlights....

This year it's getting better....

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
-vampires vs lycans(werewolf)...a prequal....no Selena (Kate Bekinsale) guys...

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
-Hell yeah!! Didnt expect it to be a real movie. Another fav when i was a kid.
Hope Snake Eyes looks cool....dont think so Sgt Slaughter will be in this movie but if he does....WOW!!

Sherlock Holmes
-love detective movies, and i hope this would be a good movie

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
-after that big hit in the first movie, expectation is quite high. Rumours has it that Megatron is back taking the form of a tank....but he is not the main bad guy. Jet Fire is in and could merge with Optimus Prime

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
-besides having our fav Wolverine, Gambit is in this too, so does Deadpool

Watchmen
-An Alan Moore original. the trailer looks exciting...

Fast and Furious
-Van Diesel and Paul Walker is back....

Dragon Ball
-expextation are high....Chi Chi looks hot...LOL

Harry Potter(cant remember what number)
-although im not a fan, i know there's a lot of people are willing to camp outside the cinema to be the 'early birds'

Gifts For Someone

Finding a birthday present for someone is really difficult if u really dont know what to get.
Like me, i really had a hard time in search for a nice gift for someone.....
For that matter, i have ask some of my friends for their opinion.

"buy the most expensive gift. she would love it....."

OK....so, for that i have quite an expensive budget. i already had something in mind.
i never really think bout the consequence of buying an expensive gift....

"aiya Bang Me.....no need to buy that expensive......"

that's what my cousin, Amoi told me.
Erm...ok...but what should i buy?
i have to ask her for opinions since she's a girl....i dont have sisters....but Amoi is like a sister to me.
She knows better.....i'm still learning.

Even the last time i bought a birthday gift for someone, i had to ask my girl friends....er...is that right.... or female friends?...
btw, i have to ask their opinion. i'm not sure what girl really likes.....
i remember i bought this thing for a friends birthday.....
during those time, this thing wasnt available in KK, and that present too i put it inside a kettle jug box....talking bout being creative.

OK...so i went out to find a birthday gift.....
there were lots of things i could buy but i dont know which is the best....
i learn few rules when buying gifts for girls......
but somehow i forgot.....watch is a 'NO'...so does erm...'anklet' ...i could not think others....

looking at these things, i could not decide which is the best.....

keep thinking bout what she likes.....such as colours....
other than that...erm....i know she's likes something like arts....
what else.....cats? chocolate? baking materials?......ok...that's a bit ridiculous

alright...i finally pick 2 pair of of earrings for her birthday.....
i was happy with my selection...after some 'consultation;'....

i'm not sure when girls buying gifts for guys.....do they have the same problem like guys?
i dont know...maybe just us guys....or maybe some of the guys(like me la...).....

Then i realize, getting a gift for someone is not just getting them so they can remember us....
(not hoping to get a gift during birthday...etc..)
